Dan Dvoress wins his seventh Triton title in Jeju

Dvoress added his seventh trophy on 9 September 2026 in Jeju’s $30,000 No-Limit Hold’em eight-handed tournament. He earned $942,000 after beating Xuan Liu heads-up in a field of 135 entries. It followed three titles in Montenegro earlier in the year, giving the Canadian another major result on his return to live tournament play.

The result matters because a career leaderboard can hide how quickly a player is moving. A title total provides the long view; a recent event report supplies the date, opponents and payout behind the newest addition.

Why the game format matters when comparing champions

Triton festivals include different poker disciplines and tournament structures. The March 2026 Super High Roller schedule, for example, featured No-Limit Hold’em, Short Deck and Pot-Limit Omaha, alongside mixed-format and bounty events. Its buy-ins ran from $20,000 to $150,000.

That variety gives a title count useful context. A win in a fast hold’em tournament and a win in a deep PLO event both produce a champion, but they test different decisions. When following a player, look at the format as well as the trophy total.

Triton titles, prize money and profit: what is the difference?

A title counts a tournament victory. Prize money records a payout. Neither figure, on its own, establishes a player’s profit: buy-ins, re-entries and any arrangements to share action affect what the player ultimately keeps.

For a useful comparison, read the event name, date, buy-in, finishing position and payout together. Check whether a reported amount includes bounties and whether a deal changed the payouts. This avoids treating every headline dollar figure as the same kind of result.

Questions about Triton Poker winners

Does the player with the biggest payout always win the tournament?

No. A deal can change the distribution of prize money. At the first Triton ONE Main Event in September 2025, Joshua Gebissa won the title and $975,225, while runner-up Punnat Punsri received more than $1.2 million following their heads-up agreement.

Are Triton ONE wins included in this table?

This table follows the Super High Roller Series champions register. Triton ONE has its own event results; the two records should not be combined without checking how a particular statistic is defined.
